One day stuart hale video chatted Anawhata pod and sent us a mission to clean up the whole school.First we had to get into our star groups.

Discovery Time!

Every Friday, well mostly every Friday Anawhata pod has a get together which we call Discovery Time. It is really really fun! We have to achive our goals like one of the goals was time management, and one was perserverance. Normally we have different activites for on tables and you also have different materials. You have to make the thing that you have been told to make or if you haven't been told to make anything, you make whatever you want with it. Once we got to make some snacks like toast,biscuits with sprinkles on top and a fruit kebab but it wasn't all fruit there was a marshmellows as well. 

Instant Alpha!

In term 3 the whole school did calender art it was to take home if they want. Room 17 did this thing called Instant Alpha, I was new to it and Miss Davies explained it to us. We had to get in pairs but one group which was my group had to get in threes because there wasn't many people. My two buddies were Aashay and Nicholas. Aashay went first and I went last.
The first thing that we had to do was find a picture from the internet of any thing like sports,wrestling etc. My image from the internet was a picture of a body builder. When we got our image from the internet then I had to take a picture of myself and dowload it on the computer and go on pages and instant alpha the background and when we were happy with the picture we did instant alpha on it. We had to fit it into our image we got from the internet. 

Sports Exchange Day!!!

On Wednesday the 15th of September all the year 5&6 and some of the year 4s went to the sports exchange. I went to Waitemata rugby club to play rugby. We were split into two teams we lost all three games but the other team won all three games. The hardest team to beat for me was Pomaria, after playing my legs was really sore. Then we had to fold our rugby clothes and give it to the teacher and wait for our lollies. After the game we had to wait for the bus, when we got in the bus we had to pick up the soccer team and go back to school.
